Rimmel London

Hello there lovelies, hope you are all well.

I love Rimmel London. It is my go to make up, and I feel it is extremely affordable and reasonably priced, with Superdrug doing 2 for £10 on selected Rimmel products, this is always a bonus (however, you still get more than you went in for - everytime).

I had wanted a classic red lipstick for a while now, with the seasons gradually changing (I am ignoring the fact it is glorious sunshine outside at the moment LOL, I'm ready for Autumn).

Usually, I tend to choose a matte lipstick, however I fancied something a little different as my Mac collection is growing and bank balance doing the opposite. I saw this red and knew I had to purchase it, it is that perfect red that make the teeth gleam and make your lips pop, perfect for Christmas, I say.

These are to celebrate 15 years of Rimmel and Kate Moss and are special edition nudes and reds.

Lets appreciate that rose gold packaging!

I also picked up a nude as nude is my everyday colour, this being the 'boho' nude. This boho nude has a slight orange/peach tone to it and is so complimentary for Autumn.

(You are probably thinking), how was the coverage?

The coverage was absolutely brilliant! It feels so moisturising and light on your lips, with a pleasant scent as well and it definitely lasts a couple of hours and but more likely to come off while eating and drinking.

I also picked up a new foundation.

This is brilliant and I could not recommend this enough. This is so lightweight on your skin but has such an even coverage and with SPF 15 included, I thought it is perfect to wear on its own without having to apply sun cream on to. I got it in the second lightest shade although there are a few to choose from.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what did you think?

Thanks for reading, enjoy your week.
Love, Tash xx

Next Level

Hello guys!

I have recently had the summer to really focus on my blog and to improve my content, or atleast I feel I have. As cheesy as it sounds, I feel I have an unbelievable passion for blogging and feel I am getting so much out of it. This being confidence, friendship and the feel of genuine support. I am so grateful for all of the gorgeous friends I have made, and the support we give each other is just beyond words, and is - fantastic.

It is my 6 months blogging birthday! (so cheesy) but I thought it may be time for a blog template change... As I've said in an old post, I didn't think I would carry on with blogging when I started. But, I was wrong! It's my favourite hobby and I love it so much. I find the time for it whilst working full time and studying from home and I still find myself excited to sit down and do some blogging, so I thought it's time to take that next step and give my blog a little make over.

Anyway.. about the outfit! With the UK's weather drastically changing, I thought it was time to update me wardrobe! I found this beauty of a dress on Boohoo, and thought it was perfect for those festive months. (I know, I'm a little early) - but oh well haha! I paired it with my primark boots, belt and  faux leather jacket for a more dressy look and then changed to my converse and ditched the belt for a more casual look, you know, the 'Tash' look.

Ellisa shirt dress with dipped hem, Boohoo, £18.00
Fishnet tights, Primark, £2.99
Faux Leather Jacket, Primark
Ankle boots, Primark, £15.00
Converse, Schuh, £48.00

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the photographs today, a big thank you to my gorgeous and beautiful blogging bestie, Katie! Take a look at her blog here, my biggest inspiration to DATE!!!!;

Thank you for reading, I really hope you like my new template from pipdig and my outfit, let me know your thoughts, they are greatly appreciated and seriously make my day.

Have the best bank holiday weekend.

Boutique of Molly

Hey guys! I hope you are all ok and thank you for coming back to love-laughter-fashion.

Recently, I was contacted by the lovely Boutique of Molly, to do a little collaboration with them and I was very excited to do so as it is one of my first few collaborations.

I had a look through their website and they have lots of gorgeous clothes to choose from. I loved this website and highly recommend this website if you are looking for clothing for an occasion. Check them out here. They have something for everyone and the dresses in particular are my favourite however they sell a variety of clothes from tops to two piece sets, which are therefore a little bit more casual.

I decided to opt for the more casual of dresses and went for this off the shoulder beauty, which was delivered in a bright pink package (like the packaging is exciting in itself) and this came within 2 days which was really impressive as I didn't have to wait that long. (As I get really excited about waiting, I usually pay for next day delivery - not only me, right?)  - Boutique of Molly do state they will try to send it out for next day if the order is placed before 3pm, which is incredible. Although, I ordered after this time range.

I decided to pair this dress with fishnet tights, boots and a belt for a more dressy look. I feel this will be a perfect dress for a BBQ garden party or a meal out with family.

How would you style this gorgeous piece?

'Liana' Bardot Curve Hem dress, Boutique of Molly - (I think I got the last one but definitely check their site out for more dresses, tops, outwear, and 2 pieces sets.)

Boots, Primark, £15

Mybag.com Event

Hello! I have recently just been to my first ever blogging event hosted by the lovely team at mybag.com, check them out here. This being the Pre LFW bags event. I was a plus one for my lovely blogging friend, Erin, check her out here . (Erin is gorgeous and I adore her fashion and what she wears!)

Mybag.com offer a range of bags for all occasions on their online boutique and they have so many to choose from.

So when myself and Erin arrived at The Alchemist (where the event took place and after a little detour), we were welcomed by the lovely Lily and the other amazing ladies from the team at mybag.com and also the staff at the Alchemist. We then had a look at the gorgeous bags. We talked all night, took pictures and mingled with other bloggers and bags of course! The Alchemist was such a awesome place to socialise, and I would definitely recommend going if you haven't already. Check their website out here.

It was the first time I have heard of mybag.com, and I am so glad I am now aware of them, I have a couple of their stunning bags in mind on my list of wishes or in other words, my wish list. They sell a range of bags from Ted Baker to Cambridge Satchel company beauties and the location was a perfect place to show them off.

A few of the great bags there! (Sorry the photos are bad quality, I didn't take my camera, not very blogging like of me).
At the end of the night, the lovely team at mybag.com kindly gave away a bag to all who attended, with some gorgeous products to try out inside, I am so grateful that words cannot even describe.
Everybody loves a canvas bag now they charge 5p for plastic ones - I plan to fold this up and pop it in my gorgeous Ted Baker bag.

These are just a few of the gorgeous gifts, others included a hair growth product, facial product and popcorn!

I would like to end this blog post by saying a massive thank you to The Alchemist, the mybag.com team and Erin for such an incredible night, definitely one of my best evenings and I hope to see you guys again soon. Also, I have noticed mybag.com offer 15% off for new customers and free standard delivery on all orders over £20. (If you wanted a sneak peek).

The prettiest top I own

Hello you lovely people and happy Friday. Thank you for coming back to my blog. So.. the other day I went to the good old Primark. I feel at the moment Primark have some lovely stuff in and at such good prices of course!

I picked up this gorgeous top, it has the most delicate dainty pattern on which is what I fell in love with, along with the ruffle detail and the victorian style neck. I had lots of compliments while wearing this. It reminds me of one of the blouses from the Alexa Chung's collection, and this being only £10, it was a bargain.

I decided to style this in a more 'Tasha' way, which if you know me, is casual and had to include my high waisted jeans from New Look and my high top black converse.

Thought I would be a little different to my usual pictures and use a prop, if you call a bench a prop! LOL!

Oh and if you decide to buy the top, I had to get it in one size bigger than what I usually am - so try it on if you have time!

What do you think of this top?

Top, Primark, £10.00
Jeans, New Look, (sorry they are a few weeks old now)
Converse, Schuh, £48.00

Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend!

Our amazing adventure in the big NY

New York

Hey guys! I have just been to NEW YORK!, yes New York! I am so excited by this and had such an amazing time, I would love to share this with you guys, discussing the food, shopping, and the general sight seeing what we did while we were there. - my feet are still sore from the walking! and I am still completely jet lagged. It was the furthest away I've ever been away from home and being 5 hours behind British time, I am finding myself still awake at 2am lol. Anyway, lets just get straight into it...

The beautiful sights

Starting with the view of wonderful Times Square from our hotel.

We stayed at the wonderful 'Novotel' and it was such a brill hotel, like honestly, the staff were so helpful providing us with a map and telling us where the fabulous places were, the first question I asked was 'where is the closest Dunkin' Donuts - haha?!'

A classic yellow taxi shot, we also got in a yellow cab and it was such an amazing experience, our driver was telling us about the surroundings and was super friendly.

Rockefeller Center and Empire State

We went to here first, as soon as we got there. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but we had already prebooked our tickets, therefore got in pretty quick and was guided into a lift which was the fastest and most interesting lift experience for me with a little production of information about the Rockefeller center. We then got to the top and was able to go into two different sections which I thought was good, as this gave us the opportunity to look around all of New York. This being the photo I took of the Empire State, luckily enough the photo doesn't show the glass panes which are there.

There were also gorgeous views from the Empire State too, we went to see this at night and highly recommended.

Central Park

I think Central Park was my favourite place in New York, such a gorgeous green place. Full of flowers, dogs and families - making it a very peaceful and quiet area of New York. Whilst we were there, we went to see the bridge from Home Alone and we rowed a boat which was a really good price of $15 and $20 deposit which you get back at the end. This gave us an hour's chance to row around the lake, such a lovely experience, even if I was rubbish at it haha.

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

It was super exciting to see the Statue of Liberty for me, as I was aware we got to go on a Ferry to get there and this is something I love to do on holiday. The ferry didn't take too long, it was super busy though, but this is likely. On the way to the beautiful lady, you get the most stunning views of the Manhattan skyline which is so photogenic and I got the most perfect photos here.

When we got there we had a walk around the Statue and around the grounds which was a lovely experience. You got as much time as you needed there and then hopped on the next ferry back and they are quite frequent. We had some lunch, and then popped back on the ferry to Ellis Island, where we visited the Immigration Museum, full of history.

To get the photographs above, we got on one of the hop on and hop off bus tours which cost $54. This was definitely worth it, as I got them shots I wasn't able to get on foot. As it is such a busy city, it is hard to stop in the middle of the street to get the perfect shot, so I used this opportunity well to get any shots I wanted. You can choose several tours and we chose the Downtown tour and it took 2 hours to do a full loop with a lovely driver and tour guide talking us through, we used the headphones to listen.

Broadway show - Matilda

This was most definitely one of my favourite memories from New York. This was absolutely amazing, the show was done extremely well and the cast and crew did an amazing, I don't want to give too much away at reviewing this if you haven't seen it yet, but if you like the film you will LOVE the show. :-)
Food

Brooklyn Diner

This diner has the whole 'diner' theme and looks just how you expect an American Diner to look - it has a lot of authentic foods in a diner style way. I chose the classic hamburger meal which was quite yummy, with real potato fresh chips and a pudding afterwards a cinnamon chocolate roll.

Shake Shack

MMM, this was yummy, I got a chicken shack burger and some fries with a cheese sauce. This was my favourite meal and was at such a reasonable cheap price.

Angelo's Pizza

We love pizza and have to try it everywhere we go, lol! This was gorgeous, a wide range selection of pizzas and you can add you toppings. I got a ham and mushroom pizza and it was on such a gorgeous crisp dough, all baked in a coal oven which gives it an individual taste.

$0.99 Pizza

Honestly, we found the most cheapest but yet delicious pizza takeaway around the corner from our hotel. I definitely recommend this place if you fancy a quick bite to eat and would wanna save some dollars.

Ellen's Stardust Diner

This was my most fave diner experience ever. The waiters and waitress staff actually sing while you eat. It is so fun and so vibrant to be in there. Although, we went for breakfast, as for dinner/tea it is so busy the queue is down the street, so definitely book beforehand if you would like to go for dinner.

Shopping

I went shopping at also Mac and Forever 21. I absolutely loved these shops, they were so absolutely huge and reasonably priced too!

So, there we have it, hope you enjoyed my photos and reviews, I know we definitely enjoyed the experience - an experience of a lifetime.

Thank you for reading and I would love to hear if you have been to New York, what did you do?
Love
Tash xx
